It was last fall that the incident happened when the police patrol in one of the West Region's vulnerable areas with a colleague. They started talking to about ten young people. The police had their extra magazine with 14 cartridges attached to a holder in the belt. When he returned to the station, he discovered it was missing.

Both police officers returned to the scene but failed to track the magazine. A report was written and police suspected he had been robbed during the conversation with the youths. However, nothing can be clarified.

No penalty

The Staff Responsibility Committee writes off the case and notes that nothing has emerged that indicates that the police were negligent about their equipment. He therefore receives no disciplinary penalty.

The Special Prosecutor's Office decided not to initiate any preliminary investigation into the case.
