The incident occurred at 14 on Thursday at the railway station in Boden. According to the first testimonials to Aftonbladet, several people fled the scene, including a person who must have worn a Halloween mask. A large police operation was initiated, including helicopters and dog patrols, following the alarm that came at 14 o'clock on Thursday afternoon.

- There have just been more police officers on the scene, including dog patrols. They are in the restricted area and are working on a technical investigation, SVT's reporter Jenny Stridsman told her when she reported from the suspected murder scene during Thursday afternoon.

The entire area was kept closed off and several police and ambulance staff were in place.

- We saw the perpetrators running from the scene. Then came the ambulance staff and it looked like they were working on resuscitation attempts, said a witness SVT News Norrbotten talked to.

The police kept the site locked and started a technical investigation.

At 18, the police announced that a person had died as a result of a serious violent crime. Two people have been arrested for murder. Police are looking for witnesses to the incident.

In connection with the incident, train traffic was also shut off but now during the evening the trains are rolling again.

According to the police, this is an isolated event, which means that there is no danger to the public. The police state that there is otherwise preliminary investigation confidentiality, which means that the police will not be able to provide more details.
