“We have just hit Hamas targets in Gaza in response to a missile launched through Israeli territory,” the Israeli army said on Twitter.
In response to the rocket fired at #Israel earlier this evening, we just struck Hamas targets in #Gaza including:
• underground infrastructure
• a naval target
• a military compound
It is noted that the underground structures of the group, the naval base, and also the military camp were hit.
Earlier, air raid sirens were triggered in southern Israel in an area near the Gaza Strip.
