Swedish citizen wanted for murder in Norway

  • On Monday, October 15, 2018, a 24-year-old man is found dead in a home in Oslo.
  • The Norwegian police are investigating a Swedish 20-year-old Uppsalabo.
  • One suspects a connection between the murder and the knife robbery that took place in a garage not far from the murder.
  • The 20-year-old has previously been sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for, among other things, theft and robbery in Sweden.

  • The 20-year-old admits that he killed the 24-year-old in Oslo, according to his lawyer Øystein Storrvik.
  • However, he has not taken a position on whether he considers himself guilty of a crime.
  • Prosecutor Christian Hatlo tells NRK that the suspect has given clear details about the action.
  • The 20-year-old will undergo a forensic psychiatric examination.
  • He is suspected of murder and robbery.

  • In mid-December 2019, the experts who observed the suspect at a hospital in Trondheim state that he is sufficient, according to several Norwegian media.
