Abu Dhabi Municipality completed during the last quarter of this year the work of installing 118 electronic gates on the mainland, powered by solar energy and equipped with automatic sensors, in addition to bumps to slow down the speed of gates, in order to reduce the rate of accidents on external roads in Abu Dhabi.

The project comes within the framework of the municipality’s keenness to enhance the infrastructure components and develop them in a way that is compatible with the size of the capital and its suburbs, and to achieve the highest levels of traffic and traffic safety, and the cost of the business reached 8.5 million dirhams.

The work carried out serves the traffic movement of cars heading to the farmer's road, ensuring road safety, reducing accidents, reducing speeds at electronic gates, securing entrances and outlets to the farms on the mainland, and preventing the entry of stray animals into the expressways opposite the farms.
