Police list fake emails, or phishing, as one of the most common types of fraud. They all advise never to click on links in emails that seem suspicious. But if you are cheated after all, you should report the scam to the police and contact your bank as soon as possible.

Hundreds of thousands of suspected fraud cases are reported to the police each year. Around Christmas, both scam and scam e-mails are increasing, with the scams often hinting that you have packages to retrieve. But how do you know if an email is genuine or fake? In the video above, Lotta Mauritzson, a crime prevention officer at the National Police Fraud Center, lists three ways to call the scam.
