State Department Announces Visit of US Special Representative for North Korea to China

“After his trip to Seoul and Tokyo on December 15-19, Special Representative Bigan will leave for Beijing on December 19-20 to meet with PRC officials to discuss the need to maintain international unity with respect to North Korea,” the press release said.

Earlier, Moscow and Beijing called for the resumption of the six-party talks on North Korea with the participation of diplomats from Russia, the USA, China, North Korea, South Korea and Japan.
