According to the police, more and more young people are robbing other youths on expensive jackets, among other things.

- We see that more young people are exposed to robbery, and that there is also a large dark figure, a culture of silence, that people are so scared that they dare not report, says Frida Thörn, district police in Nyköping.

If the crimes are not reported, what will be the consequences?

- That the perpetrators are allowed to continue raging freely and can cause even more fear and anxiety in society. More victims can be exposed because they see that nothing happens when they are doing this.

Want to build relationships

By visiting schools, the police hope to be able to build relationships, so that young people, among other things, will feel secure in coming to the police if something has happened.

- We want young people to dare to talk, the adult world is there to help and support. We don't want it to be like this.
