KPMG has found purchases for almost SEK 120 million in the spring of 2019 as "lacking support in the municipal council's delegation scheme".

The auditors believe that "rules have been broken and that unauthorized direct procurement has occurred" and "does not exclude that the municipality risks suffering damage due to unauthorized direct procurement".

- This investigation confirms the picture we have described earlier. It can be stated that if the budget had not been cracked, we might not have discovered this, says Lars Stjernkvist, chairman of the municipal council.

The report is now attached to the police report made by the municipality.
