The German magazine "Abbotken Umchau" reported that the sauna baths have great health benefits, but they are not without risks either.

The magazine concerned with health explained that the sauna baths operate the following:

1- Stimulating blood circulation.

2- Strengthening the immune system.

4- Clean the skin.

5- A feeling of relaxation and psychological calm.

However, in some cases, saunas may pose a risk, as pregnant women, heart patients, diabetes patients and people with blood pressure problems should consult a physician first before going to the sauna.

Abbotiken Omchau added that it is not permissible to go to the sauna in the following cases:

1- Acute infectious diseases such as influenza and cold.

2- High eye pressure.

3- Kidney and liver diseases.

4- Vascular diseases such as varicose veins or vasculitis.

5- After stroke.

6- Epilepsy.
