Putin signed the law on the introduction of electronic labor books in Russia

On December 3, the State Duma adopted a law on electronic work books, and later it was approved by the Federation Council.

By law, employers are required to notify employees in writing of relevant changes by June 30, 2020.

After this, the employee has the right, by the end of 2020, to choose between a paper or electronic version of the work book and a written application must be submitted.
