According to RIA Novosti, the journalists of the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin ”asked the Ukrainian leader how his first meeting with Putin took place on the sidelines of the Norman summit.

“The first meeting, personal, we talked, raised very important issues,” he said.

Zelensky also said that meetings in the Norman format in the Donbass provide an opportunity to put an end to the war in Ukraine.

He added that the new Norman summit will take place in four months. According to Zelensky, "many questions cannot be resolved at a time, and indeed there are a lot of different views."

The Ukrainian president said that Kiev has “slightly different views” on the Minsk agreements, but the main thing, in his opinion, is that the beginning of communication has begun.

Earlier, a spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Putin and Zelensky had a brief talk in Paris in a one-on-one format.

Zelensky stated that he did not give a full-fledged interview to the Russian television channel, but answered the question of one of the journalists after the Norman summit.
