The woman must have been pulled down on the grass next to the Cathedral in the center of Karlstad by an unknown man. According to police, a passing witness probably scared the man, who interrupted and disappeared from the scene.
Police are now seeking witnesses to the incident.
"There may be more witnesses who have seen the incident," said Sofia Nordling, on-duty fu leader at the Police.
