The "Tomtespelen" athletics competition is the start of the winter season for Blekinge's athletics clubs and for several children it was the first time they competed.

- I competed in 60 meters and length. It went well, says Lily Säfström from Karlskrona.

It is KA 2 IF which organizes the athletics competition which is held in the Sunnahallen in the Kugnsmarken and this year about 300 children and young people from both Blekinge, Skåne and Småland participated.

- It's fun to compete and the most important thing is to beat their own record and not everyone else's, says Klara Svensson Lidén, participant.

In addition to, for example, jumping high jump, long jump or running race, the children were also visited by the plot and Christmas presents were drawn to the children.

In the clip above you can see what it looked like when the plot met with the children.
