December 14, 201923.00 The former president of Sudan, al Bashir, is guilty of corruption. The two-year sentence is a court in Khartoum. Deported from the army in April, after months of protests against his authoritarian government, al Bashir had large sums of money, without legal justification. He admitted to having received 25 million dollars from the Saudi prince Salman. Al Bashir, 75, is wanted by the International Court for Genocide and War Crimes in Darfur. It is not known whether it will be delivered by the transitional civil executive in the African country.
