Turkish Foreign Ministry condemns decision of US Senate Committee on sanctions over S-400

It is noted that these actions are a new manifestation of disrespect for the sovereign decisions of Turkey regarding its national security.

The Foreign Ministry also called on the US Congress to "act reasonably and take a constructive position" so as not to harm the common goals of the two states, which "have been confirmed at the highest level in recent weeks."

Earlier, an international committee of the US Senate approved a bill providing for the imposition of sanctions against Turkey for the purchase of Russian S-400 systems.
