In order to obtain a majority of its own, 326 seats are required, which is why the Tories must have succeeded with a good margin if the polling poll is correct.

Anna-Maja Persson: "The question is what will happen to Corbyn" Photo: SVT

The Conservative Party's biggest rival, the Social Democratic Labor, landed in the 191-seat poll. This is a clear reduction from the last election, with 71 seats.

If the result turns out to be true, this election may be the worst since the 1970s for the party, and according to Anna-Maja Persson, the question is rather when than if party leader Jeremy Corbyn will have to resign.

- Then he will be succeeded by any acting party leader until there is a party leader election next fall, so they have been discussed here, ”she says.
