It is noted that Morozov signed a decree on the organization of working time in December this year.
“It was recommended that the heads of institutions and enterprises located in the Ulyanovsk Region, in agreement with the labor collective and in accordance with the legislation, transfer the working day of December 31 to another day off in order to rationally use the weekend,” the statement said.
The governor also called on all employers of the region to join this initiative.
Earlier in Khakassia, Crimea, Pskov region, Stavropol Territory, Kurgan region, Karachay-Cherkessia, Sverdlovsk region announced a decision to make December 31, 2019 a day off.
In turn, Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated the opportunity to make December 31 a day off in 2019.
