An ancient Egyptian antiquities committee has approved 135 of the 431 pieces that were seized, yesterday evening, hidden inside cartons in one of the private dialysis centers in the Egyptian Beni Suef Governorate, where the pieces are sufficient to open a museum.

The Egyptian newspapers quoted the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Dr. Mustafa Waziri, that the process of controlling the pieces came during a surprise inspection campaign by the Ministry of Health, which edited a record of the incident and the Public Prosecution is now conducting the necessary investigations to find out the circumstances of the incident, stressing that these seized artifacts It is not a lost property of the Ministry of Antiquities, museums, sites or archaeological stores, but rather is a work that results from surreptitious and illegal drilling.
