NWT was the first to report that Frölander is now quitting.

Jim Frölander became famous after telling the Commission about the problems Filipstad faced in connection with the refugee crisis in 2015 and the integration problems that the municipality was tamped after.

He has criticized the state, which he believes has not provided sufficient support to municipalities that have received many new arrivals.

Frölander has also traveled around the country to raise, as he says, the municipalities against the state.

To the newspaper, Frölander says he quit after an agreement with the employer. He quits in January and receives full pay until the end of June 2020.

SVT News Värmland is looking for Jim Frölander for a comment.
