“Russia is ready for this cooperation, the president said. And there is a whole set of departments that can interact in this area, ”he said.

As the Kremlin representative pointed out, these departments are well known.

“They belong to the category of power or investigative agencies,” he added.

In early December, Germany declared non-grata two employees of the Russian Embassy in Berlin.

According to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the decision was made due to the fact that Moscow has shown insufficient cooperation efforts to investigate the murder of a Georgian citizen in Berlin in August.

On December 12, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Moscow, guided by the principle of reciprocity, decided to declare two persons from the German Embassy in Russia to be non grata persons.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin, commenting on the murder of a Georgian citizen in Berlin, called the murdered man a fighter, as well as a "bloody man" who took an active part in hostilities on the side of the separatists in the Caucasus.
