Goncharuk praised the decision of the US Congress on the "Nord Stream - 2"

“Good news from the USA. Congress supported sanctions against Nord Stream 2! They will dramatically complicate the construction of the Russian pipe. The president, the government and parliament will continue the struggle for Ukraine’s energy security, ”he wrote.

Earlier media reported that the US House of Representatives supported the bill, which requires the administration of US leader Donald Trump to impose sanctions against Nord Stream 2.

Later, the President of the German-Russian Chamber of Industry, the head of the Austrian oil and gas concern OMV, Rainer Seele, called on Europe to take measures in response to US sanctions against the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.

In November, Deputy Director General of the National Energy Institute, Alexander Frolov, in an interview with the NSN, praised the statement by US Senator Ted Cruise on the possible imposition of sanctions on companies participating in the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.
