On December 12, the funeral service of the former Moscow mayor, Yuri Luzhkov, will be held in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

It is noted that from 00:01 traffic will be limited at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior - along Soymonovsky passage, as well as the section of Volkhonka street from Soymonovsky passage to Lenivka street. Turning from Znamenka Street to Volkhonka Street will also be prohibited.

In addition, the entrance and exit from the Kropotkinskaya station to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior will be closed from the beginning of the movement until 15:30.

Parking will be prohibited at the building at Luzhnetskiy proezd house 2, building 1 at the Novodevichy cemetery. Traffic restrictions will remain until the end of the day

Earlier it was reported that in Moscow people lay flowers at the memorial in memory of Luzhkov at the building of the capital's city hall in Voznesensky Lane.

The funeral of the ex-mayor of the capital will be held at the Novodevichy cemetery on Thursday, December 12, after the funeral in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

Luzhkov died on December 10 at the age of 83.
