New Zealand launched an investigation into the death of a volcanic eruption

According to police, there is no chance that anyone could survive on the island. Intelligence agencies conduct search operations to find the bodies of the dead.

According to preliminary data, during the eruption, there were 47 people on the island, among whom were tourists from Australia, Great Britain, China, Malaysia and the United States.

Most of the victims suffered severe burns and were taken to local hospitals.

Earlier it was reported that during the eruption of a volcano on the island of White Island, two British were injured.
