According to TASS, the protocol part of the negotiations took no more than a minute. The heads of departments along with delegations sat down at the negotiating table.
Earlier, Lavrov arrived at the State Department to negotiate with Pompeo. The Russian Foreign Minister is also expected to meet with US President Donald Trump.
