“The fire in the Eurohome building materials market in Baku has been extinguished,” the country's Ministry of Emergencies quoted Interfax-Azerbaijan as saying.
It is noted that 150 people and 29 pieces of equipment participated in putting out the fire.
The cause of the fire, according to preliminary data, was a cable fire in one of the stores.
Earlier it became known that as a result of a fire in a market in Baku, two people received gas poisoning and were hospitalized.
