Tensions erupted between Marcelo and some ultra Lyon after the qualification of OL for the 8th finals of the Champions League in favor of its draw 2-2 against Leipzig on Tuesday.

The scene takes place as the Lyon players went to greet the North Turn: an ultra descended from the platform then waved a flag on which was inscribed "Marcelo Dégage" surrounding a donkey's head.

Obviously annoyed, the captain Memphis Depay then ran to snatch his hands before security intervenes and separates several Lyon players, including Houssem Aouar and Anthony Lopes, and some supporters.

"I do not need to say more, things have happened, it's up to us internally," the OL goalkeeper told RMC Sport.

"It's between us" what he said to the ultras after the scuffle, Lopes added. "We will see later, we will try to find solutions."

Marcelo was booed by the North Turn at the presentation of the teams, and even more when it came into play (87th).

The Brazilian defender and some members of Kop Virage Nord, the main group of supporters including the Bad Gones, have been in open conflict for several weeks.

Marcelo and these ultras had had a sharp altercation at the airport of Lisbon after the defeat against Benfica (2-1) at the end of October, claiming since the departure of the player.
