A policeman has died in Jersey City after receiving a head injury and two others are injured in an intense shooting that is mobilizing dozens of New Jersey state police, as well as other federal agencies.
For at least an hour, gun exchanges sounded in the Greenville community of Jersey City, on the other side of New York, across the Hudson River.
The emergency situation is still open because the possible shooters are in a warehouse and the operation has led to the closure of some twelve schools, streets and to evict many businesses in the town.
