The Blue House said President Moon Jae-in will visit China for two days from August 23 to attend the eighth Korea-China-Japan summit.

The summit will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, Monday, and Mr. Moon will discuss in depth discussions on real cooperation between the three countries and the situation in Northeast Asia with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Japanese Prime Minister Abe.

He also agreed to discuss trilateral cooperation plans for complete denuclearization and permanent peace settlement on the Korean Peninsula, and will discuss the 20-year cooperation performance review and future development directions for the 20th anniversary of the Korea-China-Japan cooperation system.

During the visit, Cheong Wa Dae said it is still negotiating whether he will hold bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Abe.
