Activists circulated on social media, a video showing the assassination of a prominent militant, by unidentified gunmen, late Sunday, while he was on his way back to his home in the city of Karbala, south of Baghdad.

A video of a surveillance camera appears on the street, Fahim Al-Taie, 53, as he got off a motorbike in front of his house, and another motorbike in which two people were traveling arrived. His neighbor confirmed that "the area is close to the religious shrines, the police station and the provincial council, and it is considered very safe," noting that "he was with his friends when he was killed."

Through the labeling of all of us _ Fahim_ Al-Ta’i, the activists lamented by praising him, and asserting that his assassination is not only the assassination of a person, but an “attempt to assassinate the popular protests against the ruling elite.”

# We all understand Al-Taie, they kill us in Iraq
He said, "We will win at home."
But he freely defeated Raha, who was raised to the sky.

Do you notice ?!

We are the victim of all our affiliations, and the only beneficiary is the one who defends the authority, and whoever tries to stay as long as possible in his chair!

Mercy to you who have seen nothing but misery in your life, as we are! # They kill us_Iraq # we all _ understand _ Taye pic.twitter.com/cfJFqaoyuj

Al-Ta'i has been participating since the first weeks in the protests calling for a change in the political class that has monopolized rule in Iraq for 16 years, and the street accuses it of corruption and nepotism.
