And he added: "What I can guarantee you is that one of the deficits that public health has in Catalonia is that it has an extra cost with people who come from outside Catalonia to intervene."
Ribó, who has said that he carefully follows the waiting lists in Catalonia, has warned of the need to take care of the health system to prevent it from being ruined, and has extolled the health professionals who have stressed that they are putting the best of them with Salaries lower than they should be.
He has also warned of a lack of technological investment, taking into account that "health discoveries are going faster than budgetary investments", and has called for taking into account that there was a time when many doctors went to other places where they paid more, from Great Britain to other places in Europe .
