According to Medvedev, the census is a complex event, taking into account the scale and geographical features of Russia.
He added that more than 30 billion rubles are allocated for the census.
“It will be held from October 1 to October 31, 2020, in remote areas - from April 1 to October 20, 2020,” the head of government said.
Earlier it was reported that the census will include questions about life abroad and the mother tongue.
