Shim Jae-cheol, the new representative of the Liberal Korean Party, is a fifth-line congressman with a career leading the university democratization movement in the 1980s.

Born in Gwangju and once called the Chin Lee (Chine Lee Myung Bak), he has been away from the mainstream.

In 2000, Shim won five elections in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do, starting with the 16th general election.

He was the most elected member of the party except Kim Moo-seong (sixth), who served as the head of parliament in the first half of the 20th National Assembly.

As such, there was an opinion that the position of the presidential candidate was relatively small in light of his economy when he declared his election.

Shim, however, spoke in the race's stance, saying, "I'm not pushed by anyone in the Democratic Party."

In fact, he has been at the forefront of the struggle, not conscious of the weight of the multiline, pretending to be the "attack" of the Korean Party.

In the last presidential election, Moon Jae-in caused a wave of suspicions that the son of former Deputy Democratic Party was preferentially hired by the Korea Employment Information Service.

Last year, the government secured and uncovered details of non-governmental promotion expenses of the Blue House and other government departments, and was under investigation by prosecutors.

In September, he called for the resignation of his country's Attorney General, and he fought off with the same five-member lawmaker Lee Ju-young.

In this struggle, Shim has a strong prospect that he will emerge from the fast-track negotiation table.

Born as the youngest of seven children, he graduated from Gwangju Jeil High School and entered the Department of English Education at Seoul National University.

During the spring of Seoul in 1980, he led the student movement as president of the Seoul National University.

He is also the protagonist of 'Seoul Station Hoegun' who decided to retreat protesters gathered at Seoul Station.

In that year, he was imprisoned for five months for a civil conspiracy and martial law violation, was tortured and released for `` exemption ''.

After graduating from college, he taught at Dongdaemun Girls' Middle School in 1985, and less than a year later joined MBC as a reporter.

In 1987, he founded the MBC trade union and served as the first predecessor. In 1992, he was arrested on charges of leading the MBC strike, demanding democratization of broadcasting.

He voted for the 15th general election in 1996, but when he failed, he became a full-time politician in the New Korea Party that year.

Since entering the park in 2000, he has served in various key positions within the Party, including the President of Strategic Planning, the Deputy Chairman of the House, the Chairman of the Policy, and the Chief Executive.

In 2009, as a preliminary chairman, he played a leading role in passing the 2010 budget bill, which included the Lee Myung-bak administration's representative four-river project, despite opposition opposition.

He served as the Chairman of the National Investigation Committee to find out the facts of civilian illegal inspections and evidence destruction cases under the Prime Minister's Office, and the Special Committee on Countermeasures against Sewol's Accidents.

In 1993, he was imprisoned in the MBC, but he died in a car accident for 20 days.

The cane is a trademark to him who has received a Level 3 delay.

His wife, Kwon Eun-jeong, runs a publishing company called Munje-dang.
