Many people are concerned about the aquarium dolphin video released by Marine Animal Protection.

On January 1 local time, the US-based 'Empty the Tanks' (ETT) released a video of a southern dolphin filmed at an aquarium on Singapore's Sentosa Island on its official Facebook.

In the video, the dolphin enters the head nine times on the tank wall. The video, taken by a visitor last year, attracted the attention of its audience with over 300,000 views in a week since its release.

ETT founder Rachel Cabari explained why he shared the video on social media in hopes that more people would be interested in the suffering of this smart animal.

Experts say, "It's no surprise to show signs of stress while wildlife is trapped."

The aquarium side said, "I did not know if this happened," he said, "I can not confirm whether this video was taken here." "We are allowing dolphins to swim alone or in groups in a good environment, playing freely or experiencing socialization with their peers," he added.

But animal protection officials warned that "no artificial tank can replicate the natural environment in which these animals are found."
