His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Urban Planning Council, stressed the emirate’s keenness to reach all the needs of the citizen, which provides stability and family security, in a way that provides a decent life for him and his family.
His Highness, during his presidency of the Urban Planning Council meeting yesterday, approved, in the circuit of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi in Sharjah, 4765 residential plots in the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, to provide housing support that His Highness had directed to provide 4400 housing grants to the people of the emirate, starting work from the beginning Next year, over a year and a half.
Residential plots were distributed in various cities and regions of the emirate with 2,300 plots in Sharjah, 50 in Hamriyah, 1030 in Kalba, 600 in Khor Fakkan, 420 in Dibba Al-Hisn, 152 in Al Dhaid, 124 in Al Madam, and 68 in Maliha, And 21 in the Bataeh area.
His Highness directed all concerned parties within the Urban Planning Council to work together within one team to accomplish all requirements in preparing residential areas, providing all the necessary facilities, services and high-quality infrastructure, and holding weekly meetings to follow up and accelerate the pace.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Department of Planning and Surveying, called for the speedy completion of all required plans, maps and engineering works and handing them over to the concerned authorities, to complete the works and other stages.
His Highness, Chairman of the Urban Planning Council, Housing Department, also called for working directly in pre-prepared residential areas, and preparing the rest of the requirements to contract with the best specialized companies for the next stage after preparing the rest of the housing plots.
His Highness directed the Roads and Transport Authority to implement an initial road network and implement a first layer to facilitate the work of companies and agencies in the implementation of housing and service projects, to be completed in accordance with the best standards in the advanced stages of preparing residential areas.
His Highness, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, directed the work to design, equip and build electrical transformers, and the rest of its supplies related to electricity, gas and water, in parallel with the work of equipping the residential areas and complexes.
His Highness called for the necessity of studying all the services related to residential areas, such as mosques, gardens, investment buildings, and other services that provide the main requirements for residents.
