The Health and Environmental Affairs Committee held its meeting headed by Muhammad Al-Yamahi, to continue discussing three projects with federal laws, the first in biosafety from genetically modified organisms and their products, the second on the organization of cemeteries and burial procedures, and the third on public health.

The meetings of the parliamentary committees concluded yesterday, with a meeting of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee, headed by Dr. Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi, during which she continued to discuss the Ministry of the Interior's policy in the matter of civil defense, and adopted the final report of the topic, which includes axes: training and rehabilitation of employees of civil defense departments according to urban developments And awareness programs on safety and security conditions in the community, and coordination with the competent authorities in unifying security and safety conditions for buildings and services provided by the civil defense.

Today, the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee continues its meeting to discuss the policy of the Ministry of Climate Change and the Environment in achieving sustainable development of fish, animal and agricultural resources, as the meeting witnesses the identification of all topics of the topic, and the official and societal bodies concerned with it, in preparation for preparing the final report on the subject for submission to the Council .

Today, the Committee on Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Public Facilities, chaired by the First Vice-President of the Council, Hamad Ahmed Al-Rahoumi, meets to discuss the Emirates General Transport and Service Corporation (Emirates Transport) policy.

Today also witnesses a meeting of the Committee for Technology, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs, chaired by Aisha Leitem, to continue discussing the services provided by telecommunications companies, and to specify a schedule of proposals for a mechanism to discuss the topic, in addition to listening to public complaints about services provided in this sector.

The Social Affairs, Labor, Population and Human Resources Committee will hold its fourth meeting tomorrow, headed by Dhirar Hamid Balhoul Al Falasi, and the first after adopting its oversight work plan for the first session of the 17th legislative term.

The meeting is scheduled to witness the discussion of two general topics, the first on the Ministry of Community Development policy on supporting the productive family. The second is the policy of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, regarding the promotion and development of human capital, in order to achieve the future goals of the state.

Next Wednesday will witness the first meetings of the Committee Chairs Committee, which includes in its membership the chairmen of the nine general committees of the Council, during which the President of the Committee and its decision will be elected, in addition to reviewing the committee’s agenda during the first regular session.

On Thursday, the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs and Appeals Committee, chaired by Kifah Al-Zaabi, meets to keep its members informed of the committee's work plan during the first session of the 17th legislative term, which includes discussing many draft laws and general issues within the competencies of the Federal National Council, legislative and oversight.
