Last spring, one of the worst disasters hit the city. 51 people died in the mosque attacks, but Wasseim lives.

He relies on the stick, he still has a hard time going after the shots.

- I saw him on the street when I came with my daughter in hand. I saw that he was armed and thought he was military. I smiled at him, you have nothing to fear from those who serve our country, says Wasseim.

But when the man was aiming downwards at Wasseim's four-year-old, he understood the threat and raised his daughter but could not protect her from the bullets that were coming. Three shots hit her before Wasseim managed to throw her under a parked car.
