Skånetrafiken will be the first in the Nordic region to offer blip payment on city buses, they write in a press release. Payment is made by holding your regular debit card against a reader on the bus. The system already exists in London, among other places.
First out in Skåne will be the city buses in Hässleholm next week, then Trelleborg and then the system will be rolled out in the rest of Skåne's city bus traffic.
