“Declare December 8, 2019 as the day of mourning in Ukraine,” it says.

It is noted that on this day on the territory of the country state flags will be lowered on the buildings of government bodies, entertainment and concert events will be canceled, and television and radio programs will also be amended.

Zelensky commented on this decision on his Facebook page.

“Let this tragic event be a lesson for all officials, leaders, for all citizens of Ukraine,” he wrote.

Earlier it was reported that the number of victims of a fire at a college in Odessa increased to seven.

The fire occurred on December 4 on the third floor of the six-story college building. A criminal case has been opened on violation of fire safety requirements.
