Ryanair's base at Skavsta Airport will be temporarily closed from the summer season 2020, which starts on March 29. By then, half of the more than 30 air lines that exist today will disappear, according to Skavsta.

Ryanair will continue to operate Skavsta Airport with aircraft based elsewhere.

- Some of the lines that disappear have had one or two departures a week. You have to keep in mind, for example, that London remains that goes 1-2 times a day, says Lena Josefsson, marketing manager at the airport.

The remaining lines are the lines to and from Malaga, Alicante, Milan Bergamo, Edinburgh, Gdansk, Krakow, Naples, Poznan, Prague, Pisa, Thessaloniki, London Stansted, Warsaw Modlin and Zadar.

Passengers who have booked flights that have been canceled have received, or will receive, information directly from the airline.
