According to him, the reason for this decision was the mass complaints of citizens against collectors who ignore the restrictive measures previously taken by parliament.
“Despite a number of measures already taken by the State Duma and changes in federal laws, this proves to be an insufficient mechanism to curb the activities of collectors. Often they go beyond just their authority, but also common sense, ”said the parliamentarian.
He noted that a working group would be specially created in the State Duma to work out the relevant amendments and introduce them into the Criminal Code of Russia.
Earlier, progorod43.ru, with reference to the FSSP management, reported that collectors were fined in the Kirov region for too frequent calls to the debtor.
