Housing queues are growing, but the number of rented rental properties is also increasing. Last year, the Housing Agency in Stockholm set a record when 13,455 rental properties were brokered in the region. 2019 will also end as a record year when the record of last year has already passed in November.

- During the year, we have reached many new agreements on cooperation with housing companies. This means that more and more housing companies are leaving their vacant rental rights to us. We have also seen that many of the housing companies' evacuation apartments have become available for mediation again after major renovation projects were completed during the year. In addition, a relatively large new production contributes to the entry of more rental housing, says Petter Strömberg, communicator at the Housing Agency in Stockholm.

The average queuing time is 10.3 years compared to the previous year when it was 10.2 years.
