On Thursday, the results of the annual ANDTS study on alcohol, drugs, doping, tobacco and gambling were presented. It encompasses approximately 2000 students in grade 9 and high school grade 2 with the aim of identifying drug and alcohol habits in young people.

This year's survey shows that alcohol consumption is increasing for the fourth year in a row. In 2015, 12.7 percent of ninth-graders stated that they use or have used alcohol - the lowest figures since the survey started in 1995.

But since then the arrow has pointed upwards and this year 25 percent say that they use or have used alcohol.

- It's a disaster, says municipal police Ewa Öberg Öström who tells us more about this in the clip above.
