The Swedish Transport Administration has a repairman in place, but does not have a forecast for when the fault can be rectified. The error affects train traffic past Katrineholm and thus all trains to Hallsberg / Kalmar / Gothenburg and Norrköping / Malmö.
In addition, a regional train on its way to Stockholm has been hit by a vehicle fault just south of Strängnäs. Passengers have been informed that staff are waiting for a so-called aid team to arrive.
