On the eve of the massive strike expected Thursday, the strike rate in schools was announced by Jean-Michel Blanquer. The rate of strikers is forecast at "55% for the whole of France" with wide variations throughout the territory, said the Minister of Education. It will be included "between 35%" and "78% in Paris". "According to our estimates about 30% of schools will be able to provide" a minimum service of reception, "for the rest it depends on what the municipalities are able to do on a case by case basis", he added.
