At a gathering at Buckingham Palace in London, on the occasion of NATO's 70th celebration, a gathering of world leaders was captured exchanging views on how US President Donald Trump behaves. The conversation, which was, by all accounts, intended to be a private conversation, was captured in the sound and picture of a photographer watching the summit. The images were then spread on Twitter by Canadian CBC.

The comments were about Trump's behavior, for example, at his press conferences. One can clearly hear how Canadian Prime Minister shares his observation about how Trump's staff "drops their chin all the way to the floor" when Trump makes some of his statements.

Among those who also aired their views on the US president were also France's President Emanuel Macron, and Boris Johnson, the UK's prime minister.

Annoyed at Trump's behavior

- This is an insight that is fantastic for us to see. Four heads of government who are gossiping about Donald Trump, says SVT's European correspondent Christoffer Wendick following the NATO summit, and continues:

- This shows that not only are we reporters and outsiders interested in what Donald Trump is doing, but this is something that the entire NATO leadership circle observes. There is an annoyance about how Trump behaves, how he steals the show and even about the things he says, says Christoffer Wendick.

Conflicts between heads of state in NATO

Although the gathering at Buckingham Palace was framed by smiles, the relationship between the great members of NATO is not without conflicts. Donald Trump, for example, has repeatedly stated that other member states do not spend enough money on defense cooperation.

At the same time, before Nato meeting, Emanuel Macron said that he thinks Nato is brain dead. A statement that both Trump and other member states leaders have reacted strongly to. Macron thinks that you talk too much about money and too little about how NATO should work and who the enemy really is when you meet.

There has also previously been a conflict between Justin Trudeau and Donald Trump where Trump, for example, called Trudeau "dishonest and weak".
