04 December 2019 The Eurogroup ministers would agree to postpone the discussion on some parts of the Mes in January, in particular that on the controversial clauses of collective action.

This is what we learn from EU sources.

Next week's EU summit should therefore not make a decision, but would return the ball to the Eurogroup in January, as technical negotiations continue.

However, there would be no consent to reopen the text.

Previously, the president of the Eurogroup, Mario Centeno, said: "We see no reason to change the text", adding that the political agreement has already been taken: "We work for the signing of the Treaty reform at the beginning of next year".
