Among the 79 countries and international cities that participated in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA), implemented by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), students from private schools in Dubai have outperformed the global average in math, science and reading skills. According to the results, students in Dubai's private schools scored 501 in both reading and math skills and 500 in science skills, above the OECD global average of 489 in both math and science skills and 487 in reading skills.

Dubai recorded its first participation in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) in 2009, and its students achieved a noticeable improvement between 2009 and 2018 by 27 points in math skills, 14 points in science skills and 22 points in reading skills, equivalent to about six Months of further education.

The results showed that Emirati students in the private schools in the Emirate achieved remarkable improvement rates of 36 points in mathematics skills between 2009 and 2018, equivalent to an additional school year, and students also improved performance by 27 points in science skills, and 19 points in reading during the period Itself.
