The resident (Arabic) accused a private hospital in Al Ain of negligence, resulting in the death of his two-year-old child, and submitted a report to the police against the hospital and a pediatrician, in addition to another private hospital failed to treat his child for the lack of health insurance, while the Abu Dhabi Department of Health received Complaint from the father of the deceased child, and its investigation.

In detail, Alaa Rawajbi, the father of the deceased child, told Al Emarat Al Youm that he noticed his child's high temperature. He took him to a private hospital in Al Ain. The child remained for four days in the hospital, was receiving antibiotic injections, and on the fifth day his condition began to worsen, and he refused to food and the temperature drops with drugs, then rise again, and the child began to vomit.

"On the fifth day, the doctor told me that my son was not responding to treatment. He should be transferred to another hospital. He told me that he had coordinated with the new hospital and his doctor to receive the case," Rawabbi said, adding that the hospital had not transferred his son to the second hospital in an ambulance.

"They gave me a referral to the other hospital. They told me that the child needed more tests. They made me sign the child's exit papers. They did not supervise the delivery of the child to the new hospital, even though the child was in their custody five days ago, as if they were trying to get rid of him." He pointed out that he took his son in his car, due to his extreme fear for him, where he was in a deplorable state, the color of the face was very yellow, and refuses food and permanent vomiting.

“When I arrived at the new hospital, they refused to accept me. They told me that my health insurance did not work for them, although there was a letter of transfer with a half-emergency written, but they refused and asked for the child to be admitted as a special case without insurance. After having paid 500 dirhams the value of the statement ».

He pointed out that the medical examination on the child did not take more than three minutes, where the doctor told him that he was informed of the health status of the child, and that the child needs to sleep five days in the hospital, and do more tests because of a bacterial blood, causing a rise in temperature.

He said: "After I left the examination room, the receptionist asked me to go to the accounts department to do the procedures, and I was surprised to ask them to pay 10,000 dirhams, so that the child will be admitted to the hospital, and do the tests set by the doctor."

“I told them that I only have 2,000 dirhams, and I asked to sleep and start treatment, until I manage the rest the next day, but the hospital administration refused to enter him before I paid the full amount,” Rawabbi said. "He was only given a load to reduce the heat."

He continued: «I took the child again, and went to the emergency of a government hospital, and it was seven o'clock in the evening, was detected and decided to sleep in the hospital, and was done rays and examinations and told me the doctor that the inflammation reached the heart muscle, and became suffering from deficiencies, and after midnight "The situation deteriorated further and he died."

He pointed out that he submitted a report to the police against the first hospital and the doctor in charge of treatment (Karim), and accused them of negligence, where the child was discharged from the hospital in bad condition, and was not transferred by ambulance until the case is treated as an emergency, also accused the private hospital The second was not to provide treatment for the child, pointing out that he had submitted another complaint to the Department of Health Abu Dhabi.
