“There are 65 million of us Ukrainians all over the world ... We really want you to return home ... so that those who give up, unfortunately, and plan to leave Ukraine, remain,” the Ukrainian leader said.

He said that the Ukrainian authorities intend to launch the “Come Back and Stay” program, the first stage of which will be an opportunity for citizens to get loans for starting a business worth 1.5 million hryvnias for five years.

“The rates are as follows - 5% for an existing or new business that will create at least two jobs; 7% for an existing or new business with revenue of up to 25 million hryvnia ... and 9% for those who are already working, have revenue from 25 to 50 million hryvnia, and wants to expand their business, ”Zelensky explained.

He added that the government has “many more interesting ideas.”

Earlier Zelensky promised to fight for the “lost” residents of the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass.

At the end of August, Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky named the number of Ukrainians whom he could return to his homeland as a condition for Zelensky’s re-election for a second term.
